Eat less meat to fight climate change: UN expert

(20.9.2008)http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080907/sc_afp/unfoodclimatewarmingindia;_ylt=AvMAWC4u5Pb6iYOvoGrwnMYPLBIF
You may be asking how can meat associated to the climate change? This is also my 1st question in my mind when i notice the title. Actually in the article, an UN expert encourages us to eat less meat as a way to help overcome the global warming crisis nowadays. This is because when we eat less meat, rearing animals such as cattles can be reduced in every country and can directly declined the amounts of greenhouse gas released to the atmosphere. I also think that it is more or less helpful. It's not enough to focus in reducing gas from exhaust or filtered smokes from the factories only in the combat against this climate change issue, we really have to bring about reductions in every sector involved.

Transformer glitch shuts down biggest atom smasher

(20.9.2008)http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080918/ap_on_re_eu/eu_big_bang
An atom smasher have to be shut down for repairing because its tranformer was found malfunctioning just a day after it was launch on 10.9.2008. The atom smasher was actually built to discover how mass and matter form this universe by the collision of the subatomics such as the collision of protons and anti protons. It was built according to the Big Bang Theory that form this universe. After mankind discover the way to form mass and matters, is this means that we can create things like God in the future??

Smashing time for unhappy youth

(7.9.2008)http://thestar.com.my/fightcrime/story.asp?file=/2008/9/5/fightcrime/22244783&sec=fightcrime
An interesting incident! A burly youth went on a rampage and smashed a watchsmith’s shop using his bare hands because his watch did not function properly after he sent it for repairs. Are this the teenagers nowadays?..Maybe youths nowadays are facing too much problems and fail to handle the stress. In this case, i think parents should put more attention on their children and share problems with them.

(4.9.2008)http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/9/4/worldupdates/2008-09-03T211946Z_01_NOOTR_RTRMDNC_0_-353015-1&sec=Worldupdates
Alarm!!!It is undeniable that many of the materialistic human being nowadays are not alert of the changes of the planet they are standing on! The issue of global warming is getting more serious every year...Sad to say that there is no doubt the global warming was caused in part by human activity(factories, vehicles, logging and lots more).. Now, researches in Artic show that the five ice shelves along Ellesmere Island in the Far North, which are more than 4,000 years old, had shrunk by 23 percent this summer alone, just a short while.. It proves that global warming is really serious now and need the attention of all mankind...Besides, global warming can generate more damaging weather extremes such as hurricanes, cyclones and floods. Thus, we, mankind, must work together to reduce pollutions for the sake of our next generation and the future of our beloved planet Earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take good care of our Mother Nature!!!!!!!!!!
