A new disease has broken out in Slim River not far from my hometown… This disease is called Chikungunya virus and is said to have affected 5 neighbourhood villages, started from Kampung Rasau… its symptoms are fever and joint pain, like the Dengi disease….This new disease is also brought by mosquitoes…. the number of patients are on the rise and luckily no death is reported……. I hope that the Ministry of Health can get rid of this disease soon so it will not spread to other places and more villagers be the victims of the disease..
